Our readers want to get to know you first, tell us about YOU what is your story?
Eight years ago I came from Poland to the USA because of my Husband’s job. We came here as a family of 3 (with our little boy), now we are a family of 5. During my motherhood journey, I went through some postpartum struggles as well as an identity crisis. I was able to “fight my fights” and build a new, purposeful life for myself and my family. I’m now enjoying every day with my kiddos, and am trying to be the best mom I can be. I developed a mission to support other moms when they feel overwhelmed and they’re struggling.
Now let's talk business, what do you do? Have you always wanted to have your own business- what inspired you to go down this journey?
My educational background is in psychology (I’ve got a master’s degree) and I’m so-called personal development junkie. I’ve never planned to be a mompreneur, but as a stay at home mom I was lacking creative outlet, some passion outside of housewife-life. I started a blog JustRedefine.com about redefining the way we look at motherhood and after a while, I decided to support other moms more directly and turned towards coaching.
What advice do you have for moms who want to start a business?
- Just take action! Even when it's scary and you're not exactly sure what you're doing, just start!
- Confidence comes after courage.
- And don't be afraid to ask for help. It shortens all the analysis paralysis periods
Life is full of lessons, what has this quarantine taught you?
Quarantine showed me exactly that I’m right in what I’m teaching my clients – we are creating our own happiness, it’s all about our mindset!
