Our readers want to get to know you first, tell us about YOU what is your story?
What a great question. Who is Angel Tuccy? I could tell you that I’m the best selling author of “ABC’s of Exposure” and 10 other books. I am the founder of the group “Ladies Who Lunch”, one of the first and longest running Meetup groups in Denver. I host a daily morning show and run a boutique PR firm. Using media exposure, I was a stay-at-home mom who was awarded Influential Woman Leader of the Year. I travel as a speaker teaching business owners create more publicity to make their big impact.
Using the impact of media and marketing, I show entrepreneurs how to gain more visibility, more media exposure, get published and become best-selling authors. Many of my clients have launched their media and speaking careers, being invited to speak on stages, and creating profitable revenue streams. I help them draw out your powerful story, craft it in a way that appeals to media, and creates more exposure for your brand. Making an impact is about sharing your purpose, gaining exposure, and giving back to the world. I love helping entrepreneurs get more publicity, get published and get paid even more.
Now let’s talk business, what do you do? Have you always wanted to have your own business- what inspired you to go down this journey?
I teach entrepreneurs, authors & coaches how to get more media exposure so that they can make a bigger impact in the world, become micro-celebrities in their space and gain more followers.
It’s not rocket science, but it does require a strategy of positioning yourself as a trusted resource and being prepared when the media comes calling. One of the biggest challenges entrepreneurs, business owners, & authors have is getting more people to say, “I’ve heard of you”. Yet, we’ve been taught how to be “busy”.
Sadly, 90% of entrepreneurs never make more than $100,000 a year. They are busy but broke. That breaks my heart because they work harder than everyone. They work “entrepreneurs half days – 9am to 9pm”. You know that you have a great product, service or program, and you just need more people know you exist!
I hosted a business talk show for 10 years, and during that time, I created the method to teach how to get exposure using radio, tv, magazine & podcast interviews.
What advice do you have for moms who want to start a business?
Life is full of lessons, what has this quarantine taught you?
Adversity provides opportunity. You find what you go looking for. There were folks who sat on the sidelines worrying, wondering, and waiting. There were those who pivoted, and created an entirely new business model. We saw restaurants pivot. We saw churches pivot. We saw retailers pivot. There was immediate access to celebrities, online training, entertainment and meetings. I watched my first opera at the Metropolitan Opera House. I streamed the Purple Rain concert. All from home. There are opportunities in adversity.
