Hello! All my life I have valued family above all else, which is probably why, I always start my introduction with the wonderful title of ‘Mom’. I have three children, spanning in age from 8-17, who I’m fortunate to be raising with a loving husband.
When I’m not busy parenting or doing the biz thing, I enjoy baking all things chocolate, traveling to new places and of course, reading!
Now let’s talk business, what do you do? Have you always wanted to have your own business- what inspired you to go down this journey?
I have the privilege of sharing the most fabulous children’s books while helping to fill bookshelves for FREE! My bread and butter is working virtual parties, but I love the opportunities I have through schools & community organizations, promoting literacy!
I had never imagined that my life would include owning my own business, but when I found these books, I simply couldn’t resist. Since I started this chapter in my life (7 years ago) I have found it to be rewarding in so many unexpected ways, including new friendships, personal growth and the most amazing home library!!
What advice do you have for moms who want to start a business?
Life is full of lessons, what has motherhood taught you?
Everyday is a new adventure with kids, and recently I feel we as parents and caregivers have really been pushed to the max. That being said, the joy we receive from the homemade cards and end-of-day hugs, make it all worth it! Looking back on my own journey with motherhood, I think the hardest part was learning that once the playdough colors had mixed, there’s no going back!
Life’s short, the kids are only little for so long, it’s our job as parents to make the most of it!
