We all love being a mom, before we talk about mom life, share with us who you are. We want to know your story- what do you love to do? What are you passionate about?
I’m originally from Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico. I’ve been in the United States for 22 years and now proudly call Greeley my home. I’ve had many failures, setbacks and challenges in my life, but I am determined to move forward and give life the best of me. I love making authentic and meaningful connections with others around me. I believe we all have a purpose in this world, and we can achieve that by connecting, working together, and supporting each other in our journeys. My calling is to encourage and empower others, to bring out the best in each and every single one of us. To never ever give up on our dreams no matter the difficulties.
Mom is a title we are all proud of, tell us your birth story!
I am a proud mother to three beautiful girls; Jaycee, Jenesys and Jaelynn.
My motherhood journey began in 2008, when I was 19 years old. Becoming a mother at a very young age was something I was not prepared for as it came with many challenges; financially, physically and emotionally. I often felt inadequate, unworthy and undeserving of being a mother to my precious baby girl Jaelynn. I felt like she deserved the world and I was not able to give her that. Despite the struggles, we kept going and those hardships only strengthened our family. Jaelynn was an only child for five years until we finally decided to grow our family.
My next baby girl, Jenesys, arrived in 2013. I wish I could say by this time my husband and I had it all figured out but no, that’s a lie. After five years, once again we were starting all over with a new baby. I remember feeling so lost at first, not knowing how to make things work out. Life was not perfect but somehow, we were making it.
Last but not least, Jaycee came as a surprise in 2015. Yes, I know that sounds silly, but it honestly was not our plan to have another baby just 20 months later. I guess having 2 girls was not hard enough, so of course, why not have a 3rd one right? Oh boy, did we have our hands full. Changing diapers, breastfeeding, cleaning up messes…….it seemed like it never ended. I probably wanted to pull my hair out more than one occasion.
Has it been crazy and overwhelming? Heck yes!
But have my girls been a blessing in my life? Absolutely!!!
I have not only gained 3 daughters but also 3 little friends who I love more than anything in this world. All girls but each so different and that’s what makes life fun and interesting.
