Meet Nikki

Our readers want to get to know you first, tell us about YOU, what is your story.

I was born and raised on a farm in Texas, where I learned what it means to have a personality that is bigger than life. At age 14 my family and I moved to Colorado. I became exposed to the house building world when my father started to build homes in Pagosa Springs, CO and that is when I fell in love with everything homes!

After graduating from high school and getting my CNA license, my adventures spirit moved me to Alaska. In Alaska I became a step mom of two wonderful children, who became my world, as I was told I would not be able to have children of my own. With that crushing news, we adopted and became a family of 5. How could life get any better? Well shortly after the adoption, we found out I was pregnant with my miracle baby. Shortly after giving birth, I decided to move back to Colorado to be with my family. Life continued to grow and I welcomed my second daughter into the world.

Flash forward and my girls are now 5 and 3 years old and we are loving the mountains, great weather and everything else our beautiful state has to offer. My passion is spending time with family, being the best mom I can be, going to church, health and inspiring and helping other woman.

Now let's talk business, what do you do? Have you always wanted to have your own business- what inspired you to go down this journey?

When I was 15 years of age I went on a mission trip to Thailand. We helped young girls get out of sex trafficking and through that experience, I learned the pain woman deal with and it became a passion and mission of mine to help woman in anyway I can. I am currently a Realtor and Health Coach to help people not only in those aspects of my work, but to one day be able to open a Woman’s Home for hurting and struggling woman get back on their feet. I want to help them find their gifts and talents to be the best version of themselves. Using my talents and gifts in Real Estate and a Health Coaching does help people. Yet, it is my vehicle to helping my community in a bigger way. I want to use my journeys to inspire other woman to think and dream bigger. I love what I currently do and I know it is fueling my mission and purpose in life.

Together as a community we can make an impact and I am grateful to be part of a great community of woman who understand life is not perfect, we make mistakes, we get up and we move forward. As woman we need to encourage each other more and I know this community of incredible woman will do just that!

What advice do you have for moms who want to start a business?

Life is full of lessons, what has motherhood taught you?

Motherhood has taught me patience, I don’t have to be perfect i just have to be me and do my best. Love, a hug and a smile goes a long way. NEVER SAY NEVER (haha) Don’t compare, God made us all different and all of our kids are different! Love, show compassion to other moms and Don’t judge.
