We all love being a mom, before we talk about mom life, share with us who you are. We want to know your story- what do you love to do? Who are you?
My name is Stacy Suniga, and I typically wear many hats at any given time. In my day job, I work for the Boulder Valley School District as an Operations Manager. They say where you spend your time therein lies your passion. Trying to increase justice in our world does it for me and is evidenced by my after- hours work and involvement in political or non-profit organizing in my community. In my past, I started a homeless shelter for homeless families and recently sat on the Greeley City Council in the At-large position.
Life is full of lessons, what has motherhood taught you?
Motherhood taught me that no matter how hard it can be, being a mom is the best part of life you will ever experience. Being a mom brought out the protective fight in me. There are hurts and trials but with love, all things work out just fine. Also, you never have to worry about your heart being too small to accept more love. It amazes me how my children are so uniquely different, and my love for each is equally unique and equally abiding. The biggest surprise of my life came when I became a grandma, and I really fell beyond the moon in love with each of them. My life is blessed.
We all love recipes. Share a recipe with us.
You caught me! I’m a terrible cook.
